Overview

Lumina.AI respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and the choices available to you. Lumina.AI is designed as a personal wellness companion and does not require an account in this version.

Information We Collect

Most information you create in Lumina.AI is stored locally on your device. This may include mood entries, journal text, chat history, breathing session records, saved quotes, favorites, app settings, nickname, and optional career information.

If you enable weather, approximate location may be used to request local weather data. If you enable notifications, your device token may be used to deliver reminders or messages you opt into.

When you use AI chat, quote generation, or image features, the text and context needed to provide that feature may be sent to our service providers over an encrypted connection.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide app features, personalize daily quotes and images, display your history and trends, send optional reminders, process subscriptions through Google Play, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal information.

AI & Third-Party Services

To power certain features, Lumina.AI may send necessary data to trusted service providers, including:

• AI providers for conversation and quote responses
• Image generation services for quote artwork
• Weather services for local conditions
• Google Play Billing for subscription purchases
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (if push notifications are enabled)

Only the data required to perform the requested feature is transmitted. These providers process data according to their own privacy terms and security practices.

Local Data Storage

Your wellness history, settings, and saved content are primarily stored in local app storage on your phone or tablet. Uninstalling the app, clearing app data, or resetting your device may permanently delete this information. Lumina.AI does not provide cloud backup in this version unless a future update explicitly says otherwise.

Location Information

Location access is optional and is requested only to show weather near you on the Home screen. You can deny permission and still use the rest of the app.

Notifications

If you enable daily reminders or push notifications, Lumina.AI may schedule local or remote notifications according to your settings. You can turn these off at any time in Profile. Notification permission is optional.

In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Lumina.AI Pro subscriptions are processed by Google Play. We receive subscription status from Google to unlock Pro features. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account settings.

Data Retention & Deletion

Data stored on your device remains there until you delete it within the app, clear app storage, or uninstall Lumina.AI. You can remove chat history from the chat screen and manage saved content in History.

Children's Privacy

Lumina.AI is intended for general wellness use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information handled by the app and by the service providers that support its features. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. We encourage you to use device lock screens and keep your operating system up to date.

Your Choices & Rights

You can control language, theme, reminders, notifications, and optional location access in settings. You may stop using the app at any time and delete local data by clearing app storage or uninstalling. Depending on your region, you may have additional privacy rights under laws such as GDPR or CCPA.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes or legal requirements. Updated versions will be posted at this URL and inside the app. Continued use of Lumina.AI after an update means you accept the revised policy.
